Search and Rescue capability exercise at Alona Beach, Panglao, Bohol
2005 CDR Deligero, Station Commander Philippine Coast Guard in Tagbilaran, Bohol and CAPT Holger Horn, PADI Master Instructor, Division Commander Panglao Philippine Coast Guard Aux 203.11 organized a Search and Rescue capability exercise in front of Alona Beach. Main attraction was the Search and Rescue vessel 004 MV Batangas. The 56m long vessel has a re compression chamber on board, 40 stretcher, helicopter landing deck and is equipped with high tech equipments.
This event took place during the Bohol Dive Fiesta. Invited were 50 Travel Agents, Travel Writer, Photographers, Dive Shop Owners/Managers and dive enthusiasts from Asia and Europe.
