We are inside the compound of the Bohol Divers Resort (formally Bohol Divers Lodge), only 20 meters away from the beach.

Alona Beach is located at the south side of Panglao Island. The stretch of white beach is 800m long and also ideal for family vacation.

Tagbilaran, the capital city of Bohol is the destination of all fast ferries (Oceanjet, supercat and Weesam Express), slow boats (WG&A, Negros Navigation, Cokaliong and Lite Shipping) and airlines (Philippine Airlines-Boeing 737 and Cebu Pacific-DC9) from Manila.

The airport is located in Tagbilaran City. A small, simple airport but big enough so that a Boeing 737 can land. There is a plan to inaugurate soon a new airport at Panglao.

Transfers from the airports of Cebu or Tagbilaran and from the Sea ports of Cebu or Tagbilaran or vice versa can be organized. A person holding a signboard with your name on it will welcome you. We only use professional people with aircon-cars/vans in good conditions. The ride is safe and the roads are now asphalted or cemented. Two bridges connect Panglao to the main island Bohol and from Tagbilaran City it takes only 30 minutes to reach Alona Beach.

Dive center

The dive center is equipped with 35 sets Seaquest and Scuba Pro diving gears, slightly used or new. All the equipments are well maintained. Our maintenance personnel schedules a weekly checkup and cleansing day with Anti-Bac. Regulators are rinsed with Anti-Bac after every use.

The tanks are visually inspected every half to one year.

Two Bauer compressors are located in an area where it will not disturb anyone and we are sure of good and clean 'Alona Air'. The sizes of our 85 scuba tanks are 8l, 10l, 12l and 15l.

Classroom and Training

We have a spacious classroom with a panoramic view of the beach. For confined water training a large pool is available just 15m away. Our fantastic house reef, composed of rocky formations where on soft and hard corals are growing and the sandy bottoms in between is ideal for training sessions of all courses. We can teach PADI courses from Bubble Maker up to Assistant Instructor in English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese and Filipino.
